This course is designed for baristas who want to become job-ready and build a complete, professional coffee skillset.
Students who complete this course may have the opportunity to be personally recommended by Zone to café owners for employment.
This is an intensive course. Please ensure you are well-rested and ready to learn.

• Complete coffee theory that is directly applicable in real café environments
• Latte art and filter coffee techniques
• 3 hours theory + 4 hours hands-on practical training
• A complete understanding of coffee, from green beans to extraction
• Green beans, roasting fundamentals, origin characteristics, and flavour recognition
• Practical espresso extraction skills used in Australian cafés
• Essential barista knowledge required in the Australian coffee industry
• Real café workflow, bar management, and resume guidance
• Practical espresso dial-in and extraction application
• Milk steaming and latte art in real service scenarios
• Introduction to manual brewing
• How to evaluate and understand filter coffee flavour
